Enclose Cass Extravaganza!

Many Thanks!!

The Enclose Cass Extravaganza on Sunday, November 4 raised another $5,000 for the Cass Park Arena Enclosure Campaign. This third annual event is evidence that the whole community wants to help fund the glass enclosure: 12 teams played Broomball, 30 raised funds via Skate-a-thon, 20 Silent Auction items were donated and then won by highest bidders, and countless generous folks bought from Eat the Foood Truck and the Extravaganza Baked Goods and Beverage Sale! Eat the Foood contributed a generous percentage of their sales to the cause.

Thanks to the businesses and individuals who generously donated items and their time to the Enclose Cass Extravaganza. La Tourelle, Purity, Instant Replay, Collegetown Starbucks, Bev & Co, Mary Beth Ihnken, Cayuga Nail Salon, Plumtree Restaurant, Diane Duthie, Diane’s Downtown Automotive, Hangar Theatre, Mary Grainger, Debbie Whitehead and Evan Earle provided items for the auction.Tompkins Weekly and ESPN Ithaca assisted by helping spread the word.

Volunteer coordinators and workers included Treva Levine and Ithaca Youth Hockey Association, Tait Stevenson and brothers of Cornell’s Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, Jim Dalterio and the Cass Park staff, and the Friends of the Ithaca Youth Bureau board. Nichole Semzbrot, Debbie Whitehead, MaryBeth Ihnken, and supporters from the Ithaca High varsity hockey teams, Tompkins Girls Hockey Association, Ithaca Adult Hockey Association, the Ithaca Sirens and Ithaca Furies actively support the Extravaganza, too.
