Enclose Cass Extravaganza: Thank You!
Enclose Cass Extravaganza showed loud and clear that the whole community wants to help fund the glass enclosure proposed for the arena/rink!
13 teams played Broomball, 40 raised funds via Skate-a-thon, 35 Silent Auction items were donated and then won by highest bidders, and countless generous folks bought from Silo Food Truck and the Extravaganza Baked Goods and Beverage Sale!!
Thanks to the many businesses and individuals who generously donated items and their time to the Enclose Cass Extravaganza. Our silent auction burgeoned with donations offered by many generous local vendors.
We give thanks for donations from Bev & Co, Boatyard Grill, Cayuga Nail Spa, Diane’s Downtown, Ithaca Bakery, Jessica Ryan, Jim Hynes, Julia Thompson, Koko Restaurant, La Tourelle, Mama Goose, Plumtree Restaurant, Purity, the Collegetown Starbucks, Cornell Men's Hockey, Amy Little, and Tompkins Insurance Agencies plus Larry Cornish and Labatts.
The Silo Truck set up at Cass Park and gave a percentage of their sales to help enclose the Cass Park Arena.
A special thank you to Jim Dalterio and the staff at the Cass Park for their help.
In addition there were many great volunteers who made sure the event was a success: Cathy Cook, Callie Andolina, Meg John-Testa, Eric and Catie Eisenhut, Erin Oates, Merri Goodrow, Mary Grainger, Carolyn Greenwald, Alice and Allen Green, Myra Hubbell, the I.H.S. Boys Varsity team, Mary Beth Ihnken, John Strong, Matt Ulinski, Debbie Whitehead, Ithaca College's Beta Alpha Psi Club, and Phi Gamma Delta brothers from Cornell. Thank you, too, to all the helpers behind the scenes!
